The 12-piece chimney sweeping kit is designed for the maintenance of lined chimney and stove flues. It enables the walls to be cleaned in order to remove soot deposits and other residues that have accumulated in the flue. Regular maintenance thus helps to minimise the build-up of soot in the flue and to ensure the heating system continues to operate efficiently.

The kit comprises 7 flexible polypropylene rods, each measuring 1.40 m. When joined together, they provide a working length of 9.80 m.

Their flexible design is a real advantage in systems with changes of direction: unlike rigid rods, they make it easier to manoeuvre the tool through flues, even those with bends.

The rods are fitted with a male/female ISO M12 threaded connection system. This allows the user to add sections progressively to adapt the overall length to that of the pipe.

A PVC chimney brush with a diameter of 15 cm is attached to the end. The brush is available in four different diameters: 15, 18, 20 or 25 cm.

Its flexible synthetic fibres are particularly suited to rigid and flexible stainless steel flues. They conform to the shape of the flue upon contact with the walls to dislodge soot, whilst minimising the risk of scratching or deforming the lining.

To complete the cleaning process, the kit includes two metal tools. The 24.5 cm wire brush allows you to manually remove any accessible stubborn residue. The 26 cm 2-in-1 scraper combines a scraper section with a brass brush, which is handy for working with greater precision in hard-to-reach areas.

Finally, a dustpan and brush are provided to collect soot, dust and debris that has fallen during the cleaning process.
