Push-behind lawn sweeper

The tow-behind lawn sweeper makes it easier to clean up the garden after mowing or when leaves are falling. Designed to be towed by a ride-on mower or a tractor compatible with its hitch, it collects grass clippings, dead leaves and small plant debris. It enables you to maintain your lawn whilst reducing the manual labour involved in raking or sweeping.

Its working width of 97 cm (38 inches) allows you to cover a large area quickly and accurately. The towed grass collector is therefore very useful for regularly maintaining a large garden and collecting debris scattered across the lawn.

The rotating cylindrical brush drives the plant waste towards the 340-litre mesh collection bin. This large capacity allows you to continue collecting for longer between emptying sessions, depending on the volume and type of debris on the lawn. Furthermore, it comes with 4 additional brushes.

The height adjustment allows you to adapt the position of the brushes to the lawn. The lever, located at the front of the sweeper, helps you find the correct working height for collecting debris. The best setting is achieved when the brushes penetrate the grass by about half their length. It is advisable to always mow the lawn to a consistent height before sweeping. When you start sweeping, we recommend driving at a speed of around 5 km/h (third gear on most tractors) and adjusting the sweeping speed afterwards if necessary to achieve the best results.

When the hopper is full, the discharge cord allows you to empty it very quickly from the seat of the tractor. This minimises the need to get on and off the tractor during cleaning, making it easier to resume work after unloading the waste at the chosen location.

The 70 cm universal hitch system allows the scarifier to be attached to a tractor fitted with a suitable hitch.

The 26 cm diameter puncture-proof wheels provide good grip to ensure the brushes run smoothly during collection. They do not require pressure checks and are suitable for intensive, long-term use. With its robust construction and weight of 27.8 kg, the sweeper performs well on all types of terrain.

After use, the collection bag can be folded away for easy storage in a dry place; simply remove the two support rods from the rear of the hopper.

The tow-behind lawn sweeper is a practical solution if you have a large lawn and a ride-on mower suitable for towing. The 340-litre hopper and the pull-cord emptying mechanism are the main features that minimise the need for manual handling. For regular collection, run the machine over a lawn that has already been mown and adjust the brush height to suit the ground conditions.
