The 52 cm³ 2-stroke engine-powered water pump allows you to quickly pump and transport large quantities of water. With a maximum flow rate of 15 m³/h, a suction head of up to 8 m and a delivery head of up to 30 m, it is ideal for irrigation, draining ponds and swimming pools, or during floods.
The thermal water pump is a self-contained solution for pumping, transferring and draining water when there is no nearby electricity supply.
It is equally suitable for use in the garden and for various water-pumping tasks. The pump is also ideally suited for draining water in the event of high water levels or flooding. It is designed for clean water or water containing only a small amount of particles.
Its 52 cm³ 3CV two-stroke petrol engine delivers a maximum power output of 1.35 kW and operates at up to 7,500 rpm. It drives a pump capable of achieving a maximum flow rate of 15 m³/h, or up to 15,000 litres per hour under optimal operating conditions.
The pump has a maximum suction head of 8 m and a maximum delivery head of 30 m. This performance allows, for example, water from a lower level to be drawn up and then conveyed to a watering area or a tank situated higher up.
The fittings are supplied with the motorised pump; they are made of aluminium and come with seals and four hose clamps. A suction strainer is also included: fitted to the end of the suction hose, it prevents the coarsest particles from entering the pumping system. The engine runs on a mixture of SP95 unleaded petrol and 2-stroke engine oil. The recommended ratio is 2 per cent, corresponding to a 50:1 ratio, i.e. 20 ml of 2-stroke oil per 1 litre of petrol. The fuel tank has a capacity of 0.90 litres.
For regular use in the field, the engine-pump unit is mounted on a tubular steel frame. This protects the machine, ensures it stands firmly on the ground and forms a wide handle that makes it easy to move. Weighing approximately 8.3 kg with an empty tank and featuring compact dimensions, the thermal water pump remains easy to carry from one water source to another.
The Gardener’s Review
This thermal water pump is ideal when you need to move large volumes of water without relying on an electrical socket. The flow rate of 15 m³/h is useful for draining or transferring large volumes, whilst the 8 m suction depth offers good versatility for working from a cistern, a pond or a water source situated below ground level.
